Day of sunshine

Yesterday was a rare day of sunshine and warmth in this dismal wet and cold summer we have had so far. A day when the cynoglossum matched the sky and suddenly a field of flowers looks an amazing site rather than a soggy mess.

This bright mix was off to the golf…

And I must not pick the bed of roses this year so they build up strength for next year.  I must not pick those roses, oh dear one has fallen off into my hands for a bud vase in the house…

This rose is L’Aimant and smells amazing, as roses should.

This wonderful tall grass, one of my favourite for “movement” due to its height was also off to the golf.

I was in shorts and t-shirt yesterday, writing this today with it being 10C outside and raining…
