One of the great advantages of growing my own flowers in Scotland is that I can offer a variety of flowers not available through wholesale or florists outlets. If you are looking for a natural wedding look then these flowers are the real thing!
For people that want to do some or all of the wedding arrangements themselves we do sell our flowers by mixed buckets for weddings and events. This way you can get some of the natural feel not usually available without paying for the cost of floristry on top. This option is ideal for people who want to be a bit creative, want to keep the costs down or want to get lots of people involved in the run up their big day.
We also run DIY wedding workshops that teach you the basics of a handmade wedding bouquet, wiring for buttonholes and corsages and a simple table jam jar arrangement. Dates this year are: 20th May, 31st July and 17th September. If you are interested in a private party for your bridal group or hen party please get in touch. All participants will receive a voucher to redeem against DIY bucket purchases for their wedding.
If doing all your own arrangements is a bit daunting then don’t worry, you can always get us to do the floristry that you don’t want or don’t have time to do and you can concentrate on the aspects you want to do.
Below are some wonderful flowers and creations from the October DIY wedding workshop. All the participants professed to never having made a bouquet before!
