First daffodil

I have a minimum and maximum thermometer (a Christmas present – I am easily pleased) which is fascinating!  The last week has been no lower than 6C and around 13C (in partial shade), could almost be summer then?  But the good weather has brought my first Tete a Tete daffodil.  No stopping spring now. I was reading Matthew Naylor‘s blog and the amazing fast growth of his daffodils on his English farm – 3 inches in 24hrs – at least they will be ready for Easter now!  If you are interested in watching the progression and signs of spring (and contribute to the information) go to Nature’s Calendar.
