Grow and Arrange Cut Flowers – New 2019 workshop

Whilst few of us live in stately homes with a walled garden and gardener tasked with providing fresh flowers weekly or daily to extravagantly fill rooms with flowers, we can all bring natural beauty indoors.

Join us to learn how to fill your home with flowers. We are running a new seasonal creative class that will enable you to choose the staples and show stoppers to grow in your garden and how to arrange these naturally beautiful flowers in your home.

We have late spring, summer and autumn sessions to cover the growing year so you can produce scent and beauty regularly in your house. Each class looks closely at what to grow and sow for each season based on our Scottish climate so you can have a succession of flowers. We also have to consider how to cut, condition and care for these varieties to get the best vase life. You will finish the day creating an arrangement with flowers you have chosen and cut from Mayfield cutting garden

To book a place please visit the workshop pages.

Places are limited to eight people per session. No prior floristry experience is required for arrangements. (A 10% discount is available for people who would like to attend more than one season).
