I am always analysing which plants really earn their keep. This golden euonymus came with the house and sometimes I hate and vow that it must go. Yesterday was such a day. You would have thought that something nice and bright would be welcome in such a late Spring. The problem is that with nothing round about it it just looks very garish and out of place just now. Then I decided to play around with some foliage as there are no flowers yet – and look, on a small scale it is nice and cheery. It has had a reprieve for now. What do you think?
