Nearing the end of the season there are still some flowers still prepared to shine despite the battering wind and rain – like dahlias, snapdragons and sunflowers, so these flowers were off to a party at the weekend!

I don’t think I can deny it anymore – the camera that fell in the bucket of water, although recovered enough to take pictures again is not good enough. Photos are out of focus and washed out (wouldn’t you be!) and generally not showing my flowers in a good light. It is too early to write to Santa and post the letter up the chimney? (Notice I didn’t mention the C…mas word).
